MAZUT is a duo of Michał Turowski and Paweł Starzec, active since 2015. Over the years, they gradually evolved from experiments with second-hand toy instruments toward noisy dance music. Collectors of strange samples and flea-market tapes, fans of acid basslines.
They have played over a hundred concerts, including several far from home, and released a number of records on various labels. Their latest album, Dirt Collector, came out this year and marks a stylistic shift toward slower forms. Dirty, simple, and primitive music.
